Choreography, costumes, projection & text: Joe Goode

Joe Goode is widely known as an innovator and a master in the field of dancetheater for his willingness to collide movement with spoken word, song, and visual imagery. His work, created specifically for DAT, is a richly textured and powerful multi-media piece with breathtaking partnering, moving text, and unexpected theatrics, exploring issues of isolation and the desperate search to connect.

"Expressive performances...simple eloquenc...bitterly ironic loneliness when one is not alone..."

- Pittsburgh Tribune Review

"Emotional underpinnings laced the accompanying text...a layer of dry humor...tensions play out
through the body...remarkable."

- Pittsburgh Post-Gazette
